The work addresses the death of refugees on the world's oceans. Like all waters, seas and rivers, the societies of this world are interconnected. The soundtrack of the work consists of recordings of rescue operations. > link to the video
ALL WATERS ARE THE SAME is an example his body of video works, including the “Disrupted Scenes” productions for the Zurich Opera House and the DA Z Festival.
DISRUPTED SCENES I + II
The DISRUPTED SCENES project is an experimental performance conceived by Hans Peter Riegel and produced in 2022 for the Zurich Opera House. It combines classical singing, electronic music, and multimedia art installations within the stage space. The video was entirely designed and produced by Hans Peter Riegel.
